This policy explains what personal data spending.chat (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why, and what rights you have. Turkish-speaking visitors can also read our KVKK Aydınlatma Metni.

Who is responsible

spending.chat is the data controller for the data described here. You can reach us at any time at admin@spending.chat.

What we collect

We only collect data when you join the waitlist:

• Your email address, which you enter yourself.
• A one-way hash of your IP address. We never store the IP address itself; the hash only lets us limit repeated sign-ups from the same network.
• Your browser’s user-agent string and, if present, the site or campaign that referred you.
• The date and time you signed up.

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels on this website.

Why we use it

• To contact you about early access and the launch of spending.chat.
• To protect the waitlist against abuse and automated sign-ups.

We process your email address on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time. Anti-abuse data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:

• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and security for this website.
• Neon — the database that stores the waitlist, hosted on Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt, Germany.
• Resend — delivery of the emails we send you.

The page styling is loaded from a third-party content delivery network, which receives your IP address when your browser requests it. Some providers are located outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves Türkiye or the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable law.

We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist entry until spending.chat launches and you have received your invitation, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive a copy of it. Email admin@spending.chat and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, such as the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or the supervisory authority in your EU country.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change, for example when the product launches. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
